Custom Screen Printing Process
The screen printing process involves a detailed and carefully managed series of steps to ensure every design is produced with precision, consistency, and long-lasting quality.
1.Design Creation:
The process begins with creating the artwork or design that will be printed. Our team uses professional graphic design software to develop, refine, and prepare the artwork according to the client’s requirements. Every detail, colour, and dimension is carefully adjusted to ensure the final print delivers a sharp, vibrant, and accurate result.
2.Screen Preparation:
Once the design is finalized, a mesh screen is prepared by applying a light-sensitive emulsion coating. The design is then transferred onto the screen using UV light exposure. During this process, the emulsion hardens in areas not covered by the artwork, creating a precise stencil that allows ink to pass only through the intended design sections.
3.Press Setup & Material Placement:
After the screen is prepared, it is securely mounted onto a printing press. The material to be printed—such as t-shirts, hoodies, bags, promotional items, or other apparel—is carefully aligned and positioned beneath the screen to ensure accurate placement and consistent results throughout the production run.
4.Ink Application:
Specialized printing inks are applied to the screen, and a squeegee is used to evenly press the ink through the mesh stencil onto the material below. For multi-colour artwork, each colour requires its own individual screen and printing layer. This layered process ensures bold colours, clean lines, and a professional, high-quality finish.
5.Drying & Curing:
Once the printing stage is complete, the products move through a controlled drying and curing process using professional heat equipment. This step is essential to properly bond the ink to the fabric or surface, improving durability, colour retention, and resistance to fading, cracking, or peeling over time.
6.Quality Inspection:
Before any product leaves production, it undergoes a thorough quality control inspection. Each item is carefully checked for print accuracy, colour consistency, alignment, and overall finish.
